Medical Front Desk Operations Associate 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Greenville, SC 29605 Open availability between the hours of 7 am and 5:30 pm • Must have scheduling experience Must have knowledge in insurance Must be able to travel to our Greenville, Greer & Simpsonville offices Represent the practice with compassion and professionalism Extend a warm welcome to all patients and visitors Follow up on details in a timely and complete manner Outstanding Telephone Skills – cheerful voice, articulate, knowledgeable, efficient Ability to effectively triage calls from patients to ensure appropriate scheduling Excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude and ability to work as a team member and maintain positive working relationships Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment Well organized with attention to detail and good prioritization of tasks Treat patients with respect and patience, empathetic with patients’ needs and concerns Ability to resolve conflict, problem solve and make critical decisions Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA, State and Federal regulations Proficient with computers Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions
Responsibilities:
Welcome and acknowledge patients according to company standard Assist with check in and check out Log patient contact information, patient status and notes into computer Enter and locate insurance information, appointments, and financial info Schedule appointments Verify patient insurance benefits Process patients Answer telephones Process medical records Process patient payments and balance daily charges Manage and organize inventory of office supplies and forms Anticipate and address patient needs Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time Ensure adherence to confidentiality and quality standards Establish bond with prospective and established patients Knowledgeably answer general questions about practice and offerings Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by
