The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by managing front desk responsibilities, assisting with patient care, and maintaining office efficiency. We are a one doctor private practice, in a beautiful office with state of the art equipment including digital radiographs, introral camera, open dental soft ware and electronic records. We are looking for an experienced mature, and compassionate team player to help us care for our wonderful patients. Be open to assisting clinically should we be short handed. This position requires familiarity with dental terminology and office management practices, as well as a commitment to providing excellent patient service. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations, including checking in and checking out patients. Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with medical collections and insurance verification processes. Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary. Utilize open dental or be willing to learn for managing patient information and scheduling. Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients. Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and assist during procedures when needed. Skills Familiarity with phone systems and effective communication skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
