We are seeking a highly motivated Diagnostic Imaging Navigator to support diagnostic imaging teams, including MRI and Mammography Technicians, in delivering exceptional patient care. This role is tailored for pre-medical students in their gap years, offering immersive clinical experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The Diagnostic Associate will play a vital role in documentation, scheduling, patient preparation, and workflow coordination—without direct involvement in machine operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Preparation:
Assist with preparing patients for imaging procedures and ensuring a smooth, supportive experience.
Documentation:
Accurately document clinical notes and imaging procedure details within electronic medical record systems.
Scheduling Coordination:
Manage and optimize patient scheduling for imaging appointments.
Clinical Support:
Organize materials and assist with room turnover and readiness for each imaging procedure.
Administrative Assistance:
Answer phones, manage records, and support front-desk or clerical functions as needed.
Workflow Efficiency:
Partner with technologists and support teams to ensure efficient patient flow and adherence to clinical protocols.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress, ideally with a pre-health or science focus. Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. Comfort working in a clinical or hospital-based setting. Professional demeanor and commitment to patient confidentiality.
