Schedule and Locations:
Monday through Wednesday
- Float (Travel StipendAvailable) Friday
- CVR Towson Clinic 6:30 AM
- 4:30 PM Four 10-hour shifts
Responsibilities:
Patient Service Representativesgreet patients in a friendly andprofessional manner and check in/out Ensure that all CVR policies and procedures are distributed,understood, and implemented by all assigned center staffmembers Ensure compliance in all assigned centers that all patientcharts are up to date, HIPAA compliant, proper input ofdemographics, procedures, payments into NextGen ThePatient Service Representativeswill review scheduling andfinancial responsibilities and referrals with each patientthroughout care. Send precertification forms at the close of business daily tothe Precertification Department to account for all patients thatrequire authorization prior to services being rendered Ensure that daily close tasks are completed, including feetickets, billing tasks and operative notes Review future schedules to confirm that all patients have beenpreauthorized for treatment ThePatient Service Representativeswill obtain all new patientforms, properly update in NextGen/EHR; ensure that patient recordsare up to date in EHR/ NextGen Collect necessary paperwork for patient appts such asauthorizations, referrals, etc. Collect copays and patient balances at time of service Schedule and confirm appointments; collect email addresses frompatients
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 1 year administrative or customer service experience,preferably in a medical setting Must have reliable transportation to clinics that may not beaccessible by public transportation Must be able to travel to CVR Towson, Bel Air, Glen Burnie,Annapolis, Columbia, Hagerstown, and Frederick Clinics
