High School education or its equivalent in education achievement, with ability to use personal computer and a variety of software products.
Preferred:
Medical terminology course desired.
Experience:
Required:
One year clerical experience, preferably within healthcare setting. Experience must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills with others from within and outside the hospital, both in-person and over the telephone. Demonstrates effective and appropriate written communication skills. Experience should reflect ability to effectively relate to a broad range of individuals representing all socioeconomic levels.

N/A Department Position Summary:
Performs a wide range of office clerical/receptionist functions including; computer data entry, filing, record keeping, ordering and managing supplies, patient charges as well as reception duties. This position requires flexibility to assist in multiple radiology departments. Responsibilities including scheduling, answering phone, order entry, pulling daily charts, assembling records/images/charts as needed, entering charges and further duties that may be directed by the Radiology Manager. Responsible for maintaining work area. May be asked to participate in some clinical duties, such as patient transport, on occasion. Work is performed in a clinic setting with some stressful situations; moderate sitting, stooping, bending. Requires frequent work at a computer screen.
