The ideal candidate will be able to multi-task, be trainable, friendly and able to get along well with co-workers and patients. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, have good verbal and written communication skills, be able to collect money, and have an ongoing interest in learning and expanding knowledge of the dental field. Applicants must be able to pass a criminal back-ground check and a drug test. Dental experience is preferred. Specific duties of this position will include: answering phones greeting patients collecting information from patients learning and using correct dental terminology and coding (trained on the job) calling patients to gather information collecting patient payments scheduling patients for the best use of practitioners’ time Discussing payment for upcoming treatment with patients sending and receiving x-rays and referral information documenting conversations with patients and insurance companies adhering to OSHA and HIPAA rules

$15.00 – $16.50 per hour Expected hours: 36 – 42 per week
