The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and healthcare providers to accurately document patient encounters in real-time, ensuring that all medical records are comprehensive and up-to-date. This role is essential in enhancing the efficiency of clinical operations while allowing providers to focus on patient care. Responsibilities Accurately transcribe medical documentation during patient visits, including history, physical exams, and treatment plans. Maintain detailed and organized medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate documentation of patient information. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to capture relevant clinical details. Assist in the management of electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Support the medical office by performing administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments and managing correspondence. Stay updated on medical documentation standards and best practices within the emergency room or clinical settings. Requirements Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential. Experience or familiarity with medical documentation processes is preferred. Ability to type efficiently while maintaining accuracy during transcriptions. Previous experience in a medical office or emergency room setting is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with healthcare professionals and patients. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous.
