The Medical Scribe plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time. Responsibilities Accurately transcribe medical documentation during patient visits, including history, physical exams, and treatment plans. Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records within the electronic health record (EHR) systems. Assist healthcare providers by documenting patient interactions in the Emergency Room (ER) or medical office settings. Ensure compliance with medical documentation standards and confidentiality regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance workflow efficiency and improve patient care. Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to facilitate accurate documentation. Qualifications Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is preferred. Experience in a medical office or ER setting is a plus but not required. Proficient typing skills with the ability to document information quickly and accurately. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous.
