In this role, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing medical reports and documents live during patient visits. Your work will play a crucial role in maintaining patient records and ensuring that medical documentation is clear and precise. Responsibilities Transcribe medical reports, including patient histories, examination results, and treatment plans. Ensure accuracy and completeness of transcriptions by reviewing documents for errors and inconsistencies. Familiarize yourself with various medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to enhance transcription quality. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear dictations or terminology. Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology to ensure accurate transcription of complex medical terms. Understanding of anatomy and physiology to accurately interpret dictations related to patient care. Proficient typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy to meet transcription deadlines. Experience working in a medical office environment is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to effectively transcribe during live patient visits while maintaining attention to detail.
