Medical Scribe Heartland Family Medical Byhalia, MS 38611 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The Medical Scribe plays a crucial role in documenting patient encounters in real-time, allowing healthcare providers to focus on delivering high-quality care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as proficiency in transcribing medical documentation accurately and efficiently. Duties Accurately transcribe physician-patient interactions during examinations and consultations. Document medical histories, physical exams, and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR) systems. Assist healthcare providers by ensuring all relevant information is captured for medical records. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations regarding patient information. Collaborate with the medical team to ensure seamless communication and documentation processes. Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to enhance documentation accuracy. Skills Proficient in medical office procedures and practices. Strong ability to transcribe notes quickly and accurately during patient visits.
