Summary We are seeking a Medical Scribe to join our team at Advanced Garden State Cardiology. In this role, you will assist healthcare providers by documenting patient encounters and ensuring accurate medical records, which is essential for delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Document patient encounters in real-time during examinations and consultations. Ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks related to patient care. Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain organized documentation. Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers as needed. Support the clinical team with various tasks to enhance workflow efficiency. Requirements Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential. Knowledge of medications. Minimum 1-2 years experience in a medical facility. Experience in medical administrative support or scribing preferred. Basic life support certification is a plus. Familiarity with electronic health record systems is advantageous. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are required.
