• Medication Assistant Certified / Certified Medication Technician is responsible for administering daily medication to residents/patients.

Duties

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
• Monitor residents for any side effects or adverse reactions to medications, reporting concerns to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain accurate medication records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
• Assist with daily living activities, providing compassionate care and support to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the facility, adhering to all regulatory guidelines.
