Shift Details:
Full-time and part-time positions available!
Mon-Fri; Every other weekend requiredThe Resident Care Associatereports directly to the Family Experience Director, Pearl Directoror the Assistant Family Experience Director.
PURPOSEResident CareAssociate – CNAThe Resident Care Associate is responsible forproviding the highest degree of quality care and services to aconsistent group of residents and their families in our assistedliving andMemory care neighborhoods. This role includes providinghands on care, physical and emotional support as outlined in eachresident’s Personalized Service Plan (PSP) while maintaining asafe, comfortable home like environment. The Resident CareAssociate is responsible for demonstrating all elements ofwellness, remaining in accordance with federal, state and localstandards and regulations and Phoenix policies to promote thehighest degree of quality care and services to ourresidents.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESRESIDENTCAREResident Care Associate – CNA Participates in the development of the Personalized ServicePlans and updates; attends service plan review meetings withfamilies as requested Follows the hydration schedule established for the residents ismaintained during the shift Completes resident meal attendance sheets have been completedand any resident who has not dined in the dining room has beenprovided room service and / or accounted for. Knows and complies with all resident rights Initiates, assigns, and assist with activities, asappropriate Check all assigned residents daily for cleanliness, appropriateclothing, any continence issues and change in condition Uses proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions Checks on assigned resident rooms daily for general cleanlinessand neatness and takes appropriate action; ensures high risk roomsare double checked Assist with conducting laundry rooms, common areas – includingbathrooms – checks for cleanliness and any exposed hazardouschemicals; and takes appropriate action (i.e. contactinghousekeeping, personally cleaning the room, securing thechemicals) Completes all ADLs for assigned residents according to theresident’s Personalized Service Plan (PSP) Responds to security system and resident call bells promptly &immediately; takes appropriate action including resetting callbellsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATIONResident CareAssociate – CNA High School education preferred and may be required by thestate Previous experience working with elders or disabledindividuals, preferred Must be at least 18 years of age to perform the personal careaspects of the RCA position Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry andDementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours,available to our customers at peak service delivery days andtimes
