Role:

The Medication Aide is responsible for providing ADL services and medication management to residents in accordance with their service plans. This includes personal care, communicating with medical professionals and families, and supporting residents’ overall well-being. All duties are performed under the direction of the Director of Health and Wellness while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.

Current Opening:

We are currently seeking a part-time Med Tech with availability to work:

Tuesdays & Fridays:

6:00 AM – 2:00

PM Saturdays:

2:00 PM – 10:00

PM Key Responsibilities:

Administer prescribed medications according to physician orders and company policies. Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) per individualized care plans. Accurately document medication administration and any changes in resident condition. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers. Participate in meal service, including serving, clearing, and light cleaning. Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Foster a positive, respectful, and compassionate environment for residents and team members.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of caregiving or medication administration experience preferred. Compassionate, patient, and passionate about working with seniors. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Current state-required 6-hour Medication Technician certification.
