Responsibilities Assists pharmacy department with variety of vital functions including maintaining automation, performing quality improvement/data collection, evaluation/maintenance of clean room/compounding areas, oversight of daily technician roles, ensuring compliance with regulatory/accreditation standards and processing of medication orders and or medication requests from a pharmacist. This position provides organizational and technical support to ensure proper preparation of pharmaceuticals and compliance with established protocol and guidelines for pharmacy operations. Qualifications Current registration as a Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) by PTCB or National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Three (3) years of experience in either hospital or advanced pharmacy role.
