Overview Great outcomes start with great people and Armor has an exciting opportunity for a Certified Medication Aide / CRMA to join our team at York County Jail in Alfred, ME. Responsibilities Dispenses oral, inhalation, and topical medications to patients
Observes patients for drug reactions and reports any problems to Charge nurse
Monitors patient’s vital signs, calculate medication dosages, and stocks the medication cart
Records what medications and dosages were given for the day
Performs routine procedures under established protocols including phlebotomy and electrocardiograms
Manages and maintains pharmacy stocks of medicine and medical supplies Qualifications Current state license as a Certified Nursing Assistant
Current Medication Aide Certification
Current CPR certificate
Proficient with electronic medical records
