Medication Aide/Caregiver Springview Senior Living Burlington, NC 27215 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Aide to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring the overall well-being of our patients. This role is crucial in maintaining the health and comfort of individuals in a senior care environment. Duties Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with established protocols and regulations.

Must wear scrubs. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems. Monitor and document vital signs, reporting any significant changes to nursing staff. Provide catheter care and assist with other personal hygiene needs as required. Support residents with memory care activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Assist in hospice care as needed, providing compassionate support to residents and their families. Ensure compliance with all safety standards and infection control procedures. Requirements Previous experience in senior care or acute care settings is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices is essential. Familiarity with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care, including lifting or transferring residents as necessary. Certification as a Medication Aide or equivalent training is required.
