Piedmont Christian Home is a family-owned, assisted living community serving residents with compassion, dignity, and excellence for three generations. We are seeking a dependable and caring Med Tech to join our team!
Position Summary:
The Med Tech is responsible for accurately administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and providing supportive care in a Christian, family-like environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols Accurately document medication administration and resident care Monitor and report changes in resident health or behavior Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment Communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and staff Follow safety, infection control, and emergency procedures
Qualifications:
Successful completion of a 5-hour, 10-hour, or 15-hour Med Tech training course (Required) Current Medication Aide/Med Tech Certification in North Carolina (Required) Prior experience in assisted living, healthcare, or caregiving preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Positive, team-oriented attitude with a heart for serving seniors Must pass background check and drug screening
