This position is responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring that all care practices adhere to HIPAA regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in various care settings, including nursing homes and memory care facilities, and will be dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. Duties Administer prescribed medications to residents according to established protocols. Monitor and document vital signs regularly to ensure the health and safety of individuals in care. Assist with tube feeding as necessary, ensuring proper techniques are followed. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and any changes in residents’ conditions. Provide support in daily living activities, promoting independence while ensuring safety. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Uphold HIPAA standards by maintaining confidentiality of resident information at all times. Engage with residents positively, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment. Requirements Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home community care settings is preferred. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Ability to monitor vital signs effectively and report any abnormalities promptly. Previous experience in a medical office or nursing home setting is advantageous. Knowledge of tube feeding procedures is a plus.
