Supervisor in Charge/Med Tech C & E Family Care Home Fairmont, NC 28340 C & E Family Care Home has positions available for Supervisor in Charge caring for elderly patients. Live-In Supervisor-In-Charge – residential family care home – up to 6 ambulatory residents (see qualifications below): PCA or CNA I or II Med Tech Certification (NC Adult Care Home Medication Aide) CPR certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association Must be a high school graduate or certified under the GED Program or passed the alternative examination established by the Dept. of HHS Be 21 years or older Earn 12 hours a year of CEU credits Must have a two-step tuberculin skin test Must pass background check Must be in good standing on NC Nurse Aide registry Must pass drug test The live-in Supervisor-in-charge will work 4 or5 days onsite per rotation. (4 or 5 days on 4 or 5 days off) Schedule is made a month in advance. Pay range starts at $110 per day. Job description- Supervisor in Charge Description of Duties Assure all rights granted to residents in the Resident’s Bill of Rights are provided for and that assistance is available to exercise these rights. Keep patient information and their medical records confidential. Make sure that proper record keeping and documentation is maintained for residents. Ensure that all residents and employees follow all rules and regulations, as well as, the facility’s policies and procedures. Serve as a reference for family members, responsible parties, and visitors. Make sure that all residents are accounted for, which includes assuring the use of the Sign-In/Sign-Out Log. Assist with the care of residents, including prompting and performing the activities of daily living (ADLs) for which the residents need such assistance. Administer medication according to policy Meal Preparation following Menu guidelines Housekeeping and Laundering Assist with daily activities per activity calendar Assure that all accidents/incidents are reported and recorded upon occurrence and that the appropriate parties are notified. Follow orders prescribed by a physician and assure total care as ordered. Maintain and assure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements. Perform other duties as are required by the circumstances, or as instructed by the Administrator.
