Salary Range:

17.50 – 25.50 Job Summary Provides care and servicessuch as medication administration, healthcare services, activitiesof daily living assistance and other duties, as assigned, in acaring, safe and efficient manner and is responsible to performaccording to location standards and procedures. Assists residentswith self-administration of medications. May administer medicationswith proper training. Assists residents in maintaining proper andclean appearance. Assists residents with bathing and maintainingcleanliness of all body areas. Helps residents with toiletingneeds. Helps residents with dressing and undressing and maintainingproper clothing. Assists residents in transferring, repositioningand walking. Obtain vital signs accurately and reports changes inresident health status. Adheres to OSHA and CDC guidelines tominimize infections by following aseptic cleaning techniques,including those that apply to blood borne pathogens. Demonstratessafe and proper techniques for chemical use, and follows SDSguidelines for any exposure. Assists with preparing and servingnutritious, appealing meals and snacks to residents followingorders, standards and regulations. Folds, hangs and distributesclean linens and personal clothing. Prepares and launders soiledlinen / clothing. Cleans residents’ rooms and bathrooms, work areasand other public areas. Takes part in community involvement inlocation and works with volunteers. Qualifications High SchoolDiploma or equivalent preferred. High School Diploma or GED may berequired based on working state. If working at a facility in whicha lift is utilized to move residents, must meet the minimum stateage requirement. Must complete and maintain assigned medicationadministration training program and competencies per stateguidelines.
