Lead Med Techs Key Responsibilities:
Promote a cordial environment for residents, families, visitors, and co-workers; assist in maintaining a “home-like” environment. Complete SigmaCare required documentation for medication and treatment administration on the SigmaCare EMAR and ETAR. Follow up on SigmaCare dashboard to prevent delays/non-compliance.
Responsible for medication administration including:
timely administration ensuring that services are provided to residents in a safe and secure manner. Reorder medications in a timely & efficient manner ensuring that no residents goes without medication. Provide accurate follow through for written/faxed orders from physician to pharmacy. Provide or assist residents with ADLs such as but not limited to: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, nail care, eating). Answer all call lights promptly and with a great attitude. Report any changes in residents’ conditions to the Charge Nurse promptly. Complete required documentation in accordance with Community policies and State and/or Federal regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.
Lead Med Techs Requirements:
High school diploma or GED CPR certification Medication Administration Training is preferred. Three years’ experience working as a med tech, nursing assistant or certified nursing assistant in a long-term care setting Intermediate computer skills Ready to Make a Difference?
