QUALIFICATIONS

Lead analyst’s assistant who are one of the following: Board certified assistant behavior analyst (BCaBA) credentialed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board®

JOB DESCRIPTION

Implementing behavior analysis interventions, and monitoring and assessing the recipient’s progress towards goals in the behavior plan Behavior analysis interventions, for example, discrete trial teaching, task analysis, training, differential reinforcement, non-contingent reinforcement, conducting task analyses of complex responses, and teaching using chaining, prompting, fading, shaping, response cost, and extinction. Training the recipient’s family, caregiver(s), and other involved persons on the Implementation of the behavior plan and intervention strategies. Promotes a person-centered approach to treatment. Compliance with Medicaid, Medicaid waiver, EQ Health Solution, APO, Delmarva, and insurance standards Respects the personal goals of individuals served with ultimate goal of improving quality of life for the Individual served and his /her care provider. Identifies treatment barriers that block the person from achieving his/her desired goals. Develops programs that derive from the individual’s strengths. Maintains communication with Behavior assistant/ RBTs, Case managers, and parents/guardians Provides hands on training of the staff (Behavior assistant/ RBTs). Uses positive intervention models that minimize physical intervention. Assesses the function of behavior. Ensures that the functional assessment is completed in a timely manner. Conducts assessment measures in a variety of settings, to include home and community. Uses direct assessment tools to measure behavior. Uses appropriate data methods when assessing behavior through direct observation (ABC, time sampling, event recording). Utilizes direct measurement tools current in the field. Conduct direct observations and assessments of individual recipients in their living, educational, and community environments. Develop and implement behavior programs, coordinating delivery of appropriate services to recipients by providers to achieve therapeutic outcomes. Participate in interdisciplinary and/or care review meetings at which behavioral treatment programs are reviewed. Collect baseline and intervention data to evaluate outcomes. Engage in research activities to enhance the program and to make meaningful contributions to the current body of knowledge. Perform other professional and administrative support duties related to the specific program. Works under the direct supervision of a BCBA.
