Pasco, FL Join Our Team:

Hiring Mental Health Victim Advocate for Survivor Teen Girls in Residential Care Setting. Trauma-informed care experience a plus. We have 3 full-time shifts available: Shift 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday 10am-10pm (12-hr shifts, 3-day workweek, 36 hours) Shift 2: Tuesday

  • Friday 11am
  • 9pm (10-hr shifts, 4-day workweek, 40 hours) Shift 3: Saturday & Sunday 9am
  • 9pm, Wednesday & Thursday 130pm

The Safe Home Experience:

Our therapeutic campus is a nurturing space for recovery, offering continuous trauma-informed care, therapeutic activities, and unwavering support. Each girl has her own bedroom and bathroom. Your Role as a

Victim Advocate:

Your role is crucial in helping these girls rebuild self-worth, cope with their past, and set positive goals for the future by guiding them through six stages of progress. We believe in holistic support; you’ll work alongside professionals in healthcare, management, education, case management, and therapy to create an environment of healing.

Example of Responsibilities:

Offer attentive care to participants by giving guidance, helping them refocus, calming situations, and supporting them in handling their emotions. Assist participants at appointments and activities within the community to provide supervision and behavioral management. Help participants engage in their service plans, safety plans, behavior plans, and response plans. Assist to complete grocery shopping, meal planning, meal preparation, and house cleaning for participants. Complete bed checks for participants during sleeping hours and/or safety checks during daytime hours. Complete accurate and detailed documentation daily and perform administrative functions.
