“AT 12:00 NOON” Taylor County High School Clinic Aide
(Contingent Upon Enrollment)

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Administer first aid or emergency treatment to any student injured on school grounds
  • Administer any medication brought to school for students with parent’s written permission
  • Maintain student health records including daily visit log, injury reports and clinic supplies
  • Assist the public health nurse with vision and hearing screenings, fluoride treatments, weight and height measurements, scoliosis screening and head lice checks
  • Call parents or guardian when a student is sick/injured and needs to go home
  • Keep first aid area clean and sanitary
  • May be called upon to do clerical duties
  • Assist handicapped students with personal needs (C.I.C. and toilet)
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Other duties as assigned by site administrator
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
  • Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District’s approved compensation plan.

 Length of work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the District

EVALUATION
  • Performance to be evaluated annually by the site administrator in accordance with Board Policy for evaluation of non-instructional personnel Help for Employer Information.
