Live-in House Manager Filling The Gaps Hanlan Services LLC Decatur, GA 30032 Live-in House Manager – City of Decatur Seeking a compassionate and dependable live-in house manager to assist a 26-year-old woman with mild intellectual disabilities in maintaining independence and healthy routines.
Support Areas Include:
Personal hygiene Housekeeping and daily chores Meal planning and preparation Medication reminders and organization Overnight safety and emergency readiness Maintaining a structured, respectful household environment Guidance and feedback on interpersonal interactions within the home Support in planning, executing, and attending social activities/events
Ideal Candidate:
Clean, organized, and disability-aware Practices COVID safety and models healthy peer behavior Acts as a mentor rather than an authority figure—uses a dialogue-demonstration-modification approach instead of lecturing or enabling Provides supportive behavior coaching, including maintaining routines such as curfew and household security
Schedule & Hours:
Room and board provided at a highly discounted rate Potential for 10 paid direct support hours per week at $25/hour Weekdays and every other weekend (flexible/negotiable schedule)

Private bedroom in a three-bedroom, one-bathroom home located in the City of Decatur school district Amenities include private parking, WiFi, hardwood floors, a large screened back porch, and access to a vegetable garden Convenient walk/bike access to schools, MARTA, Emory Shuttle, grocery stores, and Glenlake Park (tennis, pool, etc.) Home is not ADA accessible
