The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals on the autism spectrum and other behavioral health challenges, providing support through evidence-based practices. This role involves collaborating with families, educators, and other professionals to implement effective behavioral interventions and promote positive outcomes for clients. Duties Conduct patient assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored behavior intervention plans. Implement behavioral therapy techniques under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Provide training and support to families on behavior management strategies. Stay current with best practices in special education and behavioral health to enhance service delivery. Experience Experience working with individuals with autism or related developmental disorders is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and patient assessment processes is essential. Previous involvement in data collection and analysis related to behavioral interventions is highly valued. A background in special education or behavioral health will be considered an asset. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration with clients and team members.

Assessment and Data Collection:

Conduct behavioral assessments, collect and analyze data, and develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs/BSP). 2.

Implementation:

Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). 3.

Training:

Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff on ABA techniques and interventions. 4.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes. 5.

Collaboration:

Work closely with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. 6.

Ethical Practice:

Adhere to the BACB’s ethical guidelines and clinic policies. 7.

Professional Development:

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in ABA. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals requiring specialized support while working within a dynamic team environment.
