$18.50 per hour $2.00 differential offered for accepting Weekend (Friday-Monday) schedule. $2.00 differential offered for accepting second (2nd) shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) schedule. – The differential’s listed above may be stacked for accepting both weekend (Friday – Monday) and second (2nd) shift schedule. We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team as a Youth Support Worker | Youth Care Professional. Join Us in Transforming Lives! Maxine’s House is a residential program providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children between the ages of 5 to 12. Our residents may have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, or challenging life circumstances. Maxine’s house was designed to help children heal and grow by providing them with therapeutic care, education, and life training skills. Responsibilities Provides direct care and supports to up to five residents, including supervision, meal preparation and transportation to appointments and activities. Assists with the development and implementation of individualized treatment for each resident. Collaboratives with team members to ensure consistent and effective delivery of therapeutic care. Participates in staff meetings, trainings, and other career development activities. Maintains accurate and complete resident records, including progress notes and incident reports. Wellness Program & more Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology with one year experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting.; We will consider applicants with High School diplomas that can show at least three (3) years’ experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting. Minimum age requirement of 21 years. Possession of a valid driver’s license. Physical & Drug Screening, Criminal Record History, FBI and Child Abuse History Clearances In addition, the ideal Youth Support Worker Is knowledgeable of child development, behavior management, and therapeutic techniques. Can work both independently and as part of a team. Will exhibit excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Has a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
