The Behavioral Health Assistant supports the care coordination team by facilitating access to behavioral health services through direct patient engagement, scheduling and data management.

Essential Functions:

Initiate pre-screening of applications for patients referred to the BHI Program Schedule initial visits and follow-up appointments in coordination with care managers, coordinators, and clinicians Accurately relay patient information to the BHI care team Perform data entry in the BHI system and electronic medical record (EMR) Communicate with patients to ensure understanding of their appointments and care process Other related tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

High school diploma required; college degree preferred Bilingual in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) required Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred, but not required Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills Ability to learn and navigate electronic health systems and databases (training provided) Rendr is an equal opportunity employer.
