Role:

As an Assistant Behavior Intervention Specialist (ABIS) at YAI, you’ll play a vital dual role—providing hands-on support while also stepping into a leadership position. You’ll work directly with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in their homes, workplaces, and communities, helping them live fuller, more independent lives. Under the guidance of a Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS), you’ll: Educate and support team members on Behavior Support Plans Assist with clinical assessments and data collection Provide real-time coaching and feedback Be a key player in creating a positive, inclusive environment Why YAI? What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or Human Services (or currently enrolled in a related 4-year program) Experience in the I/DD field is a plus Valid Driver’s License required A compassionate, team-oriented mindset and a desire to grow
