Job Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and dependable Swim Support Assistants to provide in-pool and on-deck support for our Learn to Swim Program serving students from Pre-K through 8th grade . The Swim Support Assistant plays a key role in maintaining a safe and supportive environment while assisting instructors and encouraging young swimmers.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide safety-focused, hands-on support to students during swim lessons. Assist instructors with managing student participation and engagement. Supervise students both in and out of the water to ensure a secure learning environment. Help students transition in and out of the pool area, including assistance with gear and readiness. Monitor student behavior and offer encouragement to promote confidence and skill-building. Perform other duties as assigned by program supervisors or lead instructors.

Qualifications:

Must be able to swim confidently and demonstrate basic water safety awareness. Comfortable being in the pool for extended periods while supporting students. Experience working with school-aged children is a plus. Dependable, enthusiastic, and able to take direction from instructional staff. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with children
