What you will do:
This position provides brief BH services within a population based practice, utilizing brief behavioral sessions of 15-30 minutes, with limited number of overall visits. Provides screening, brief interventions, and referrals for longer term treatment. Assists primary care providers with identifying and treating patients with mental health, substance abuse and other concerns. Completes all charts as needed and required by contracted funding sources, including assessments, progress notes and billing. Provides superior patient service demonstrating responsiveness and sensitivity to patient.

Requirements:
Must have PA license as either a LCSW, LMFT, or LPC Bilingual ( English/Spanish ) skills preferred . Interest in medically assisted treatment preferred. Competency in providing brief, problem-focused interventions to adults, adolescents, and children, individually and in groups within a primary care setting. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with primary care staff, patients and other behavioral health clinicians. Excellent engagement, assessment, and clinical skills. Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills. Knowledge of NextGen preferred but not required. Experience in community health, other medical, or mental health setting preferred.
