Behavioral Health Associate 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars 310 Grove Avenue, Torrance, PA 15902 Cove PREP is a Secure Care 24/7 Facility that provides intensive sexual offender treatment for adolescent males ( ages 12-20) with Mental Health who have been adjudicated delinquent. Cove PREP is located on the grounds of Torrance State Hospital, near Blairsville, PA. Cove Secure is a 24/7 Residential treatment facility for individuals who are in the juvenile justice system. Responsible for direct care and supervision of residents. Oversees residents in an effective and proper manner at all times, which includes monitoring and interacting with individuals or in groups to improve therapeutic interactions. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. HS Diploma or GED required. State and FBI clearances required. Experience working with adolescents is preferred.

Limited list of duties performed:

• Transports and accompanies residents to and from various appointments
• Performs bed checks/sweeps
• Performs contraband searches as requested
• Aids in restraints when necessary
• Monitors resident activities and enforces program rules
• Sets and maintains therapeutic boundary with residents, yet exhibits resident rapport

$19.00 – $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
