Mental Health Community Support Worker OnSite Care Clinic 1000 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732 We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A), or Mental Health Professional (MHP) to join our team. This position offers an opportunity to work with diverse populations and make a positive impact on individuals’ lives. Essential Functions
- Provide counseling services to clients, including individuals, families, and children
- Provide selected services to an identified caseload, referring clients to other services as appropriate.
- Assess client needs and eligibility for services.
- Develop and maintain client case records, plans and reports.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Attend in-services, staffing and other meetings as assigned. May be appointed to committees.
- Conduct intake evaluations/screenings with client and/or family.
- Conduct psychosocial evaluations.
- Develop treatment plans and participate regarding treatment plan of care of clients.
- Maintain contact with clients for counseling and adjustment to treatment.
- Communicate with team regarding treatment planning and client adaptation.
- Provide psychotherapy/counseling services to a diverse clinical population utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, including individual, group and family therapy.
- Utilize therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing
- Participate in individual supervision/consultation as needed.
- Maintain prompt and regular attendance.
- Perform related work as assigned.
- Ability to perform work duties without repeated prompting or requests
- Excellent time management skills
- Consult with community agencies and groups.
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and coding
- Utilize telehealth platforms for virtual counseling sessions
- Specialize in areas such as child and family counseling, PTSD care, and social work
- Ability to plan and organize work effectively. Experience
- Master’s degree from in counseling from an accredited school
- Must hold a valid LPC or LPC-A license or be a qualified Mental Health Professional
- Licensed by SC Board of Counseling.
- One year of experience working with the population to be served.
- Experience working with children and families is preferred
- Proficiency in cognitive behavioral therapy techniques
- Knowledge of medical documentation standards
