Onsite Position Overview:

The Department of Disability and Aging (DDA) is seeking dedicated Rehabilitation Assistants to join the team at the Harold Jordan Center , a residential facility supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role provides critical daily care and behavioral support to residents with varying levels of need, including those requiring forensic or behavioral stabilization services.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow individualized support plans to deliver active treatment and rehabilitation services Assist residents with daily living tasks including hygiene, mobility, communication, and social skills Monitor and document behavioral and medical data to support care decisions Promote a safe, therapeutic, and respectful environment Participate in vocational and habilitation training sessions Communicate with families, guardians, and team members about individual progress Support team collaboration and training on care interventions

Shifts Available:

Shift 1: 6:30 AM – 7:30 PM Shift 2: 6:30 PM – 7:30 AM Rotating schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays Overtime available

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of experience in caregiving, mental health, education, or human services Strong interpersonal and communication skills Valid driver’s license (required) Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check Preferred (Not Required): College coursework in psychology, education, behavioral science, human services, or related fields Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) Why Join Us?
