Behavioral Health Technician Weston Psychological Associates 1875 North Corporate Lakes Boulevard, Weston, FL 33326 Job Summary Are you looking for a position that makes you feel like you make a difference? We use breakthrough technology for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) in adults and adolescents, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Anxious Depression. We are looking for a detailed oriented, compassionate person to join our team! Health care experience is preferred but not required. However, you must have a strong desire to learn. You will be responsible for educating patients and family about this break though technology, providing treatments and assisting them through their treatment journey. Some of the most important skills are being kind, compassionate and communicating with patients, helping to make them feel comfortable and safe during this process. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as needed. Provide technical support and guidance to other staff members when required. Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED
  • Two or more years of related experience in a customer or patient-facing role preferred.
  • Spanish speaker preferred
  • Health Care experience (student, nursing assistant, patient care technician, medical technician) preferred
  • Basic knowledge of medical protocols, patient care, HIPAA and relevant confidentiality regulations preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop and bend as required during the course of duties.
  • Demonstrate visual and auditory dexterity to effectively monitor and assess patients during treatments.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, high-emotional intelligence with ability to build strong rapport and trust with patients while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver TMS treatments to patient in accordance with the treatment plan developed by the health care provider Ensure the safety and comfort of the patient during the treatment, including making appropriate coil adjustments.
  • Observe patients for adverse effects, identify medical events, and follow office protocols, including basic life support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of treatment sessions, run reports.
  • Maintain clean, organized treatment area.
