Overview:
Provide client supervision and conduct activities in accordance with professional staff direction and unit procedures. Assist clients in activities of daily living, encourage client participation in daily scheduled activities, maintain safe and clean environment. Document service activities in accordance with unit procedures. Assist with development and implementation of program schedule of activities.
ESSENTIAL/CORE JOB-SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participates in or assists with development and update of rehab services component of client service plan (CSP). Coordinates and conducts psychosocial rehabilitation services activity groups using Agency approved modules. Plans daily/weekly activities schedules in accordance with overall approved plan for activities services. Completes documentation of all clinical services activities in accordance with the Client Record Handbook. Documents staff activities in accordance with Agency procedures. Maintains program documentation, inventories of equipment and supplies, and other logs/records in accordance with program procedures.
Education/Experience:
A bachelor’s degree with a major in psychology, social work, counseling or related human services field.
Licensure or Certification:
Maintain current CPR, CPI and First Aid certifications. Possess a valid Florida driver’s license. Maintain authorization as an approved Center vehicle driver.
