Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Supervisor Full Time 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars 4461 Medical Center Way, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 We are seeking a Full time BHT Supervisor for our Substance Use Disorder Detox and Residential Treatment Facility. The individual would need to have a valid drivers license and experience with our EMR system (kipu) is preferred. We are a fast paced environment to work in. We pride ourselves on individual care, and an intimate family-oriented atmosphere in all aspects of the business.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION
include, but are not limited to: Contributes to the development and implementation of the residence’s policies Works closely with Compliance Department staff for the setting and attainment of the residence’s goals and objectives Oversee and manage staff schedules, ensure adequate shift coverage Interview, hire, train, supervise BHT staff Oversee Personal Property Inventory log of all personal belongings, valuables and return ensuring all personal property is inventoried accurately and pictures of all personal items are uploaded into the resident EMR Completes scheduled activities including, but not limited to: intakes,room searches, searches of resident personal property for contraband in accordance with established policies and procedures and documents findings/results Conduct orientation with all residents upon move in and review residence rules as necessary to ensure resident compliance Ensure weekly staff meetings are conducted Act as a liaison between the Director of Operations and leadership Participate in shift turnover and oversee that the next shift has a BHT on duty, cover shifts when necessary Documents unusual activity, vandalism, maintenance issues, injuries, and medical concerns as needed Notifies appropriate supervisor as necessary to assist to de-escalate any resident problems Ensure that residents maintain the cleanliness of rooms and that beds are made on a daily basis Oversee residents and whereabouts at all times Transports residents when needed to assist Complete incident reports according to policy in a timely, accurate manner Communicate with other staff as necessary to promote quality resident care Completion of BHT performance evaluations (90-day and annual), disciplinary actions/notice to personnel file
Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or higher education (Bachelor’s Degree a plus) Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a behavioral health setting Experience supervising and managing a team of BHTs (2+ years) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Experience working with patients with co-occurring disorders Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems (KIPU,etc) Bilingual is a plus
