No The Mental Health Technician II Responsibilities:
Provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing. Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients. Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.
Required Certification/Licensures:
BLS (Basic Life Support) CNA (Nursing Assistant)

Required Education:
High School or Equivalent
Associate’s degree in related field
- Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in related field -
Preferred Required Experience:
6 months
- Psychology or Bachelor’s degree in related field
