Full-Time/Regular STGi is seeking a Floor Technician to provide services at our Georgia War Veterans Home. GWVH will be opening a new unit that will be dedicated to the needs related to diagnoses of Veterans with PTSD, TBI, history of behavioral disorders, and substance use issues. JOB SUMMARY
Maintain or restore floors in highly trafficked areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Clean, maintain, and/or restore floor surfaces.
Sanitize highly-trafficked spaces which may contain biohazardous waste.
Even the gloss, polish, or sealant coating on surfaces with a cloth or specialized buffing tool.
Utilize industrial or commercial grade cleaning products or equipment.
Works in all areas of the facility.
Moves intermittently during working hours.
Is subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, personnel and visitors.
Communicates with maintenance personnel and other facility personnel.
Works beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holiday when necessary as well as in other positions as needed.
May be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals. Required Experience

Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent
