Work where you matter. A Brief Overview Serves as a liaison for nurses, counselors, and patients ininterdepartmental communications. Assists with the physical andpsychological care of patients under the direct supervision of aRegistered Nurse. Assumes responsibility and accountability forindividual actions and outcomes of patient care delivered. What you will do Demonstrates effective communication skills to create apositive work environment. Participates in the daily inter-disciplinary treatment teammeeting as needed, providing input in terms of patient behaviorsand interactions with others. Implements suicide precautions as needed. Assesses changes in patient’s condition/behavior and notifiesRN and/or Counselor. Assists with the activities of daily living care of thepatients to include, but not limited tovital signs, collection ofspecimens, and other general nursing care procedures. Maintains accurate and concise records, documenting promptlyall pertinent information in the patient’s EMR. Assesses impending agitation and escalation of behavioralchanges and participates in the behavioral management of thesepatients. Assists with admissions, transfers, and discharging ofpatients. Assists with medication monitoring and education atfacility. Ensures that patient’s valuables and personal items areproperly handled. Essential Qualifications The individual must be able to work the hours specified. To performthis job successfully, an individual must be able to perform eachessential job function satisfactorily including having visualacuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability tocommunicate effectively with others, hear, understand anddistinguish speech and other sounds. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
