Support Care position accountable for taking vital signs,assisting with care plan activities, observing and reportingpatient conditions and behaviors, and participating inrehabilitation, ambulation, and transfers. Communicates withdoctors, patients, and families, and educates patients on care. Mayprovide transport to offsite appointments and application ofrestraints when necessary. First-level Behavioral Health professional work providing basicevidence-based/best practice therapeutic interventions (e.g.,psychoeducational groups/classes, supportive activities, etc.)under the direct supervision of an appropriately licensed/certifiedBehavioral Health professional. Such individuals also assistlicensed/certified professionals with monitoring and collectingbehavioral data, implementing therapeutic behavior support plans,and the provision of data/reports to supervisory personnel. Jobs in this family provide licensed professional counseling workincluding client counseling, assessment, and therapeuticapplications.
