October Road of Asheville is currently seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to join our exceptional team dedicated to working with male adults in our facility and sober living environments.
Compensation:
$17 per hour, with a shift differential of $1.50 per hour for
Overnight Shifts Schedule:
Overnight Shift 11pm – 7am This is a Full-Time role with Benefits. Summary This position plays a vital role in the delivery of residential and outpatient treatment services. It is a direct care role with primary responsibilities that include interacting with and supervising clients in treatment, as well as providing transportation services for Pyramid Healthcare clients. The Behavioral Health Technician will assist the clinical and administrative teams in identifying and addressing client needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Complete the intake process for new clients entering the program. Maintain accurate client documentation. Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable. Coordinate client activities. Adhere to treatment plan objectives and address client-specific needs. Provide transportation for clients. Evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of clients, providing appropriate responses, including crisis intervention. Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment. Assist with the dietary needs of clients. Transport clients to and from designated locations within expected timeframes. Supervise and support clients during transportation. Maintain all necessary documentation associated with services provided. Complete all required training. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Licensure, Education, & Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience is preferred. Valid driver’s license in the state of hire with a safe driving record. Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required. Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily.
