Freedom Detox is seeking a 1st Shift Behavioral Health Technician to join their team in Gastonia, NC!

Salary:

$17 per hour

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 1st Shift Full Time w/ Benefits
Summary
An essential role in the delivery of residential and outpatient treatment services.
Direct care position with a primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment and providing transportation services for Pyramid Healthcare clients.
Assists in the clinical and administrative teams to identify and serve client needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Complete the intake process with new clients into program
Maintains client documentation
Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable
Coordination of client activities
Follows objectives of treatment plans and client-specific needs
Provide client transportation
Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides response including crisis intervention
Maintains safe, clean, and orderly physical environment
Assists with the dietary needs of clients
Transport clients to and from specified locations within expected time frames
Supervise and support clients while transporting
Maintain all necessary documentation associated with services provided
Completes all required trainings.
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications Licensure, Education, & Experience
High diploma or equivalent Prefer behavioral health experience or general healthcare experience
Valid driver’s license in state of hire with safe driving record Current CPR, AED and First Aid required
