Current Med Tech certification for Adult Care Homes in the state where employed. 15hr Med Tech Certificate Two forms of identification (Driver’s License and Social Security card) Full COVID Vaccination (preferred) Most recent Negative PPD (within last 12 months) OR Chest X-ray (within last 5 years) 1+ years of documented Med Tech experience in ALF Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Reliable transportation

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor and record vital signs, blood glucose, and other patient information as directed Administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician Assist patients in therapy and rehabilitation programs Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment for patients Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families Report any changes in patient condition or behavior to the registered nurse or licensed practical nurse Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner

Working Conditions:

Will be required to work in a healthcare facility, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. The job may require lifting and move patients. Day, Evening, weekend, and holiday work available. Focal Point Staffing, Inc is an EEO employer.
