Behavioral Health Technician Autizum of NC 5448 Apex Peakway, Apex, NC 27502 Job Summary Autizum of NC is a clinician owned and operated and we offer RBT-QBA support. We also provide quarterly bonuses once you will pass the RBT. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work directly with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, providing support and implementing behavior intervention plans. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, data collection, and maintaining medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Provide direct support to clients, assisting them in daily activities and promoting skill development. Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes accurately. Maintain detailed medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards. Conduct patient assessments to identify needs and develop appropriate strategies for intervention. Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Stay informed about medical terminology relevant to the field of behavioral health. Qualifications Experience or training in patient care, particularly working with individuals on the autism spectrum or those with developmental disabilities. Knowledge of medical documentation practices and the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient information. Strong skills in data collection and analysis related to behavioral interventions. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to upholding privacy standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building rapport with clients and their families.
