Substance Abuse/ mental health tech HealingUS Centers Township of Jackson, NJ 08527 HealingUS Centers is looking for a passionate and dedicated Substance Abuse/Mental Health Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in our treatment programs for substance use and mental health disorders. Your primary focus will be to assist clients in their recovery journey by creating a safe and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Monitoring clients’ well-being and behavior throughout their treatment. Assisting clients with daily living activities and personal needs. Facilitating group activities and discussions that promote recovery and coping skills. Documenting client progress and any significant changes in behavior. Collaborating with clinical staff to support individualized treatment plans. Ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all clients. Upholding confidentiality and maintaining professional boundaries. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; certification in mental health or substance abuse preferred. Experience in a healthcare or substance abuse treatment setting is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
