Description:
Position OverviewUnder direction, assists the Gastroenterologist in the procedure rooms and anticipates their needs. Participates in patient care and safety, reprocesses endoscopes, utilizes GI supplies conservatively, and operates as a team member of the GI Staff. May maintain, document, and distribute clean and sterile products per established infection control standards.

- $28.09 per hour, depending on experience

Minimum Required:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent+
Preferred:
+ GI Technical Specialist (GTS) online course completion through the Society of Gastrointestinal Assistants (SGNA)+ Previous patient care experienceLicense/Certification+
Minimum Required:
+ Certification as a flexible endoscope reprocessor through CBSPD or IAHCSMM within 18 months of hire+
Preferred:
+ CPR Certification+ Current NYS Practical Nurse License or Permit
