The Mental Health Technician provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or a registered nurse. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, and activities of daily living. This position is full-time with every other weekend rotation. Our MHTs work 12-hour shifts

• 6:30am
• 7:00pm or 6:30pm
• 7:00am.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitors unite milieu and maintains a safe therapeutic environment for patients. Completes patient observation rounds timely, and accurately Responds to patients in crisis and acts accordingly

Mental Health Tech Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a psychology-related field is highly preferred High School Diploma or GED required. Valid Drivers License with safe driving record
