Summary:

High Focus Centers in Havertown, PA is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician / Driver to join our team. This full-time role involves direct client interaction and behind-the-scenes support to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for clients dealing with substance use, mental health conditions, and eating disorders.

Schedule :

Monday through Friday 8am-4pm (approximately)

Pay Range:

16-18 per hour

Responsibilities:

Monitor, observe, and interact with clients in a supportive and professional manner Transport clients to and from programming Provide assistance to clinical and program staff as needed Help maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment, including assisting in crisis interventions when necessary Support implementation of treatment plans by reinforcing therapeutic goals Communicate effectively with staff through verbal updates and written documentation Attend team meetings, site meetings, and monthly staff calls Complete all required trainings and certifications Assist with onboarding and training of new Mental Health Technicians Observe and report behavioral and emotional needs to the clinical team Assist in client interventions when appropriate Orient new clients to the program and daily schedule Perform clerical and support tasks, such as stocking program supplies Apply basic knowledge of substance use and/or mental health treatment approaches Engage with clients during meals and downtime to promote a supportive community environment Ensure clients are appropriately supervised at all times Maintain professional boundaries and foster a positive therapeutic atmosphere Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Required:

High school diploma or equivalent

Required:

Valid driver’s license

Preferred:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health-related field

Preferred:

Experience in mental health treatment
